Math
The year continues with algebra. In this fourth module, students will be learning to use variables, as well as order of operation with PEMDAS. This unit is an important precursor to what they will be doing in 7th & 8th grade math. It ends with a final assessment sometime in May. In this module, we will follow some of the lesson structure found on the EngageNY website. There is even a tab just for parents, that goes with most lessons. Finally, for any extra help or practice, try the Khan Academy website. It follows the lessons structure & can be very helpful.
