This course encompasses an insightful analysis of various literary selections: short Stories, poetry, drama, and novels. Students will delve into the words, thoughts, and holistic meanings of each selection as they consider the author’s message and how/why this reading selection associates with the five fundamentals of life: education, religion, economy, culture, and society …during the time in which it was written as well as our current era. Students will demonstrate their understandings of the material through modes of discussion, assignments, quizzes, tests, writing, and research.
